According to Quarles & Brady LLC’s article, “ Are Inherited IRAs Exempt in Bankruptcy? Seventh Circuit Says, ‘No,’ Others Say ‘Yes ,’” decisions regarding asset protection as it relates to inherited IRAs will have to be decided by the US Supreme Court.
